Poonch, Aug 4: Inhabitants of Loran (Wand Tantrayan) Poonch have accused the administration for failure on all fronts.
According to a former sarpanch, Haji Mohammad Akram, "all is not well in Wand Tantrayan Panchayat Loran" and administration has failed to provide basic necessities to the masses.
He added that the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj has taken commission instead of bill whereas four lakh of the total amount is liability.
He said, when locals visited BDO office at Loran and found him absent because he has shifted his office to Mandi by himself. He further alleged that, genuine and deserving people are ignored in PHH/BPL list under NFSA while richer and blue eyed have been selected in these lists instead of taking hefty amount on each ration card by concerned Patwari of the revenue department.
He said, all is not well in legislator's native village and someone is allegedly backing the employees which is condemnable.
He has demanded probe into the matter. |
