Despite Guv's order, teachers' attachment continues in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Sunderbani, Aug 6: Despite the order passed by the Governor to stop attachments in all departments, the Education Department's Sunderbani zone in Rajouri seems to be unmoved by the decision and is carrying on with the activity. A major reason behind this is found to be the fiefdom carried on by the incumbent Director Education Jammu Rakesh Srangal. In a recent act of misusing his powers, Srangal affected an attachment of a teacher Badshah Hussain who was earlier attached to Director office Jammu and was brought back to his original place of posting at Middle School Nalah Thumba on July 20, 2017. In a recent development, Badshah Hussain was again attached to Director office Jammu (through order no. DSEJ/ACCtt/39762-65, dated 3 .8.2018) by the orders passed by the Director Education Jammu. This has sparked resentment amongst the teachers' fraternity of the area who are asking if the Director is appeasing his 'blue eyed' for the attachments why they are also not being given the benefit of attachments. Besides, the people of the area also say that by regular attachments made by the Director, the studies of the students are affected at various schools. |
