Jammu, Aug 6: DPS Jammu Girls Badminton team brought laurels to the school by winning Runner-Up Trophy and second prize in Inter-School Badminton Championship in U-19 category organized by District Youth Sports and Services from 1-4 August, 2018 held at M.A Stadium, Jammu.
Earlier, DPS Jammu beat G.D Goenka School in the semi-final match with 21-12 & 21-18 scores and qualified for the finals and clinched the Runners-up trophy. The teams comprised of Khushi Soni (IX-G).
Riju Camy (IX-G), Muskaan Bansal (XII-I), Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and applauded their coach, Preeti Gupta.
President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents. |
