Tral, Aug 6: A Special Police Officer (SPO) escaped unhurt in a militant attack in Lurow village of Tral township in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday.
Reports said that the militants barged inside the house of Ishaq Ahmad Bhat in Lurow village of Tral and fired upon him but he escaped unhurt in the attack. Following the attack, militants managed to escape from the area.
A police officer wishing anonymity said that a group of three militants tried to kill the SPO by firing upon him.
He said a search operation has been launched to nab the militants. |
