| Seminar on GST audit, latest amendments in GST Act organised | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 10: J&K Branch of NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised a seminar on GST Audit, Latest amendments in Form 3CD, Input Tax Credit and Finalisation of Books of Accounts Under GST.
CA. Atul Gupta and CA Rohit Vaswani renowned speakers deliberated at length on the topics of GST Audit and recent amendments made by income Tax department in Form 3CD regarding GST Information, Input Tax Credit and Finalisation of Books of Accounts, various reconciliation Statements in draft GST audit Report etc. and apprised the members with their extensive and detailed knowledge of the relevant topics.
The guest speakers also addressed the queries and issues of Chartered Accountants with regard to their respective subject matters especially on GST Audit.
CA. Ajay Gupta, Chairman of the branch welcomed the guests and the members and gave a brief introduction regarding why GST Audit is important as it is a trust based taxation regime wherein the registered dealer is required self assess his returns & determine tax liability.
CA. Anish Abrol, Secretary of the Branch while delivering the inaugural address, introduced the guests and CA. Shalay Razdan, Vice Chairman of the branch presented the formal vote of thanks. Executive Committee Member, CA. Ashwani Khajuria and CA. Sudhir Arora was also present along with number of members & students who had participated overwhelmingly in the seminar. |
