"In papers, the higher authorities of school education department claimed that every year the department had been constructing hundreds of new building but as per official sources, over 13000 government primary schools functioning across state out of which two thousands schools are still functioning from rented buildings. A total of 350 government schools in Budgam followed by Bandipora (230), Kapwara (240), Baramulla (235), Rajouri (205) and others districts were running in rented accommodation. Not only lack of infrastructure but they also lack sufficient manpower.
