Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 10: A two day induction for the students of MBA 1st Semester was organized by the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu. The program commenced with a powerpoint presentation by Dr. Rekha Gupta, Director, IMS about the introduction of the institute to the new students. It was followed by an interactive session by the class in charges with the students about their subjects, syllabus and others. The students also witnessed a very valuable session on "Human Values" presented by Wani Gupta, Asst. Professor, YCET Prof. S.K. Gupta, Dean Academics IMS also addressed the students and welcomed them to the college. This was followed by a sports activity organized for the students to give them a relaxing break and the first day of induction was concluded. The second day of induction commenced with Alumni interaction by Er. Nidhi Jamwal, Administration Secretary, YCET and Aditya Parimoo, Assistant Manager, Times of India with the students about their college as well as corporate experience. It was followed by a team building management game for the students and was organized by the Muneesha Kumari, Asst. Professor, IMS and Surbhi Gupta, Asstt. Professor IMS. The second day of the induction commenced with a very informative and interactive session on career counseling presented by Prof. Sameer Gupta, Professor, TBS. The induction in the college was coordinated by Er. Divya Jamwal, Asst. Professor, IMS Gurshish Kour, Assistant Professor Vani Gupta, Assistant Professor, IMS. The Management of IMS Chairman Er Vidhi S. Singh, Vice Chairman Thakur Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal and Managing Director Er Renu Bangroo congratulated the organizers for the successful accomplishment of the induction. |
