JAMMU, Aug 10: Inaugural Ceremony of Shri Shani Mandir conducted by Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar Jammu with proper religious traditions and rituals.
This Mandir a replica of Shri Shingnapur Mandir has been built by one benevolent devotee, Davinder Khawle of Pune, Maharashtra, in the memory of his parents (strictly on the pattern of Shri Shani Shingnapur Temple) with his own resources.
Murti Sathapna Samaroh of the same was started with Shri Ganesh Puja at 0600 AM, followed by Praan Pratishtha with proper religious rituals by eleven learned pandits including five pandits (from Shingnapur) namely Sarvshri Mandhar Kulkarni, Rishikesh Kulkarni, Ananth Kulkarni, Rusbha Joshi and Deepak Kulkarni at 11:00 AM. There after a Yagya/Hawan was organized. Puran Aahuti was performed at 01:00 PM in which large number of devotes and yajmaans participated. After completion of the Sathapna Samaroh, the beautiful temple of Shri Shani Maharaj was inaugurated by Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister. |
