Jammu, Sept 26: Government Girls Higher Secondary School Rehari organized a plantation drive in the school premises to create awareness and spread the message of saving our planet earth under the guidance and supervision of Lect. Shashikant Lakhanpal.
Students and teachers actively participated in the program. Different varieties of plants were planted in the school premises. A wide variety of plants (Behda, shrubs, Amla, kachnar, aloe Vera, guava, falsa, medicinal, herbs etc) were brought for the drive and were also distributed among the students and teachers. Lect. Shashikant Lakhanpal aware the teachers and students about the benefits of the plants and appealed to the students and teachers to adopt trees for the 100% survival and healthy growth.
Principal Rajni Kotwal inaugurated the plantation drive. All the staff members appreciated the gesture and our worthy principal Rajni kotwal also appreciated the initiative taken by Shashikant lakhanpal to make the school surroundings green and clean. |
