DGP sanctions reward for 78 police personnel of different districts

SRINAGAR, Sept 26: Director General of Police, (DGP) Dilbag Singh today rewarded 78 personnel of Sopore, Baramulla, Handwara, Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Awantipora districts. Rupees one thousand each has been sanctioned in favour of these personnel for exhibiting excellent weapon drill and turn out while presenting guard of honour to the DGP during his visit to these districts.
Dilbag Singh had visited these districts of North and South Kashmir ranges after taking over as charge of DGP J&K. During his visit he interacted with the police personnel and assured them that the department will continue to encourage all those personnel who exhibit best performance. He has said that achievements on different fronts of policing have made J&K Police proud and commitment and sincerity towards duty will lead the force towards more success.
During his visits DGP was presented guard of honour and DGP inspected the guards. The DGP visited Sopore and Baramulla on September 14, on September 24 to Handwara and four districts of South Kashmir Range i.e. Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Awantipora on September 25.
