TJAC calls off Indefinite chain hunger strike

Jammu, Sept 26: Teachers' Joint Action Committee ( TJAC) Calls off Indefinite Chain Hunger Strike as Governor assures 7th Pay Commission 28 days indefinite Chain hunger strike at Press Club Jammu and 24 days at Srinagar has been called off by the TJAC leadership today on 26th of September 2018.
The decision was taken up by Chairman TJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani, Vinod Sharma State President ReT Forum, Ganesh Khajuria State General Secretary JKTF and Gazi Abdul Aziz Chairman ReT Forum after a meeting held between the governor and Abdul Qayoom Wani. In the meeting government agreed to implement 7th Pay Commission in favour of 41000 teachers and masters of Jammu and Kashmir.
Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmed Ganie Visited the venue of hunger strike at Srinagar and offered the juice to the fasting teachers, whereas Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Sangral visited the venue of hunger strike at Press Club Jammu and offered the juice.
TJAC leadership on the assurance of the government( to implement 7th Pay Commission ) called of nearly month long indefinite Chain Hunger Strike at Srinagar and as well as Jammu.
