| 13 years RI in kidnapping, rape with minor | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 26: Presiding officer Fast Track Court Haq Nawaz Zargar today awarded 13 years rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 50,000 to Rinku Kumar S/o Bushan Kumar R/O Langotian Bishnah, Tehsil and District Jammu who was involved in kidnapping and rape with minor.
According to the police case, on 07.05.2013 the accused had kidnapped the prosecutrix (name with held) who was minor, from her gate by gagging her mouth. When prosecutrix resisted, the accused had threatened her that he will kill her und also her father . Thereafter, the accused raped the minor repeatedly.
Presiding officer Fast Track Court Haq Nawaz Zargar after hearig APP Surekha Bhat for the State whereas Adv Ashok Kumar for the accused observed that ends of justice would be meted out, in case convict namely Rinku Kumar, S/O Bhushan Kumar R/O Langotian Bishnah, Tehsil and District Jammu is sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for seven years and to fine of Rs. 30000, (thirty Thousand only for the commission of offence under section 376/RPC. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo simple imprisonment for six months. He shall further sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of six year and to pay fine Rs. 20.000/- for commission of offence under section 363/RPC. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo simple imprisonment for 03 months. The fine, if deposited by the convict shall be paid to the minor victim. |
