Rajouri, Sept 26: During surprise visits to government schools in Thanamndi education zone in Rajouri district, deputy director school education for Poonch-Rajouri district have placed under suspension 25 masters/teachers for poor performance and for lackadaisical approach towards their official duties.
Abdul Hamid, joint director today paid surprise visit to government higher secondary school (HSS) and government high school (HS) at Thanamndi and Azmtabad respectively.
While interaction with the students he found the academic standard of the schools very poor which was also authenticated during detailed inspections of the schools.
"Besides poor academic standard of the students at these schools the erring teachers have not assigned / checked home works of the students for months together" said Abdul Hamid.
Deputy Director vide his office order NoJD/PR/427-32 dt 26/9/2018 has placed under suspension 25 teachers, 12 from HSS, Thanamandi and 13 from high school Azmatabad.
He has constituted three member committee headed by DIET principal and assisted two senior most Head of the Department (HoDs) to conduct enquiry and asked to submit report within 7 days.
Deputy Director has also sought explanation from Mohd Gulazar , headmaster of high school for not maintaining leave account/leave arrangement registers, for not keeping academic check on the teaching staff and for not keeping headmaster's diary.
He has also directed Shafiq Ahmed Mir & Abdul Qayoom both Urdu lecturers at Thanamandi and Azmtabad respectively for not cross checking the home work of the students as was directed by the principal.
Suspended teachers have been identified as Ayaz Raina, Shagufta Parveen, Rubina Mirza, Rehmat, Sofia Akhter, Mukhtar Ahmed, Afaq Mir, Shahida Parveen, Sadia Parveen Zaffar Javaid, Araf Ghani, Shabir Malik all from HSS Thanamandi , Munshi Khan, Mohd Rashid, Shaihd Tariq, Mohd Farooq Mir, Ishfaq Raina, Javaid Abass, Zaffar Javaid, Fiaz Ahmed Raina, Rabia Parveen, Imitiaz Ahmed, Gulshan Ara, Tasleem Akhter & Manzoor Iqbal. |
