JAMMU, Sept 26: A Career Counselling Session for the students of Class 11th and 12th who wish to Join Armed Forces was held at Mother India Sr. Sec. School, R.S. Pura.
Retd. Brigadier Prem Mandotra, Former President 11 SSB, Bhopal, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Sukreet Gupta, Managing Director, Achievers Institute was the Guest of Honour.
Brig. Mandotra interacted with the students and awared them about all the career options in Armed Forces. During the session, students were briefed about the selection of subjects after class 10th, various options available in different streams and how to prepare for different competitive exams with special emphasis towards various entries into the Indian Army. Enthusiastic participation was shown by the students, especially the girls who had a lot of queries about entry into the Indian Armed Forces.
Sh. Sukreet Gupta while interacting with the Students briefed them about various competitive exams like NDA, CDS, AFMC etc for entry into Armed Forces. He also gave them the tips that would help the Students in preparing for these exams. Mrs. Sonia Tohra, Principal, Mother India Sr. Sec. School, R.S. Pura expressed her special thanks to Brig. Mandotra and Mr. Sukreet Gupta for sparing their valuable time for the Students and making them aware about the Career options in Armed Forces. Others who were present on the occasion were: Sh. Sudesh Verma, Naresh Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Jatin Verma and others. |
