GCW Parade declares First in one act play

JAMMU, Sept 26: One Act play, competition was conducted today at 'Display Your Talent-2018-19' organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. Prof. Parmeshwari Sharma, Dean Students Welfare, Dr. B.K. Bajaj, Associate Dean (SW), Dr. Anil Gupta & Dr. Garima Gupta, Assistant Deans (SW), faculty members, teachers incharge of the colleges, students and scholars were present during the event.
In One Act Play, the team of GCW Parade was declared First. GCW Gandhi Nagar was declared Second and GDC Kathua secured Third Position. The Certificate of Merit was awarded to The Business School. In Individual category, the best actor/actress awards were awarded to First - Pallavi Bral and Ruhi Sharma from GCW Gandhi Nagar, Akhilesh Khajuria from GDC Kathua and Mandeep Singh from The Business School stood Second and Nirupama Jamwal and Shivata Saproo from GCW Parade secured Third position. Certificates of Merit in individual category were awarded to Kavita from Rajiv Gandhi College, Sakshi Kesar from GCW Parade, Prastuti Sharma from SPMR College, Ritika and Kritika Sharma from GDC Kathua and Vishal from GDC Udhampur. Sh. Vikram Sharma, Sh. Rajesh Singh and Sh. Deepak Rawat were the Judges and Dr. Sanjay Gupta was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
The event was coordinated by Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer) and Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor). Sunny Singh, Saloni Verma, Jyoti Chowdhary, Seema Kumari, Guneet Singh, Diksha Sharma, Tegdhar Kaur, Upasana, Nanda, Rajat Salgotra and Parveen Kumar did the Hall Management.
