| CJ visits Ladies Bar Room Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 26: Chief Justice Kumari Gita Mittal accompanied by Justice Sindhu Sharma visited to Ladies Bar Room in District Court Complex, Jammu. At the District Court Entrance, the Chief Justice was welcomed by Learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu V.C Koul & all the Judges of Subordinate Courts. The Chief Justice & Justice Sidhu Sharma were welcomed with rousing reception by lady lawyers in jam packed ladies Bar Room. The Chief Justice interacted with the Lady lawyers in the Bar Room and shared her experiences and motivated the young lady lawyers to excel in the legal profession. She narrated before the lady Advocates that being the first generation lawyer, how she overcame the initial hurdles/ barriers especially faced by the lady Advocates due to the perception of the conservative society and how due to Honesty, Sincerity & Hard work, she became one of the busiest lawyer's at Delhi . She stated that the only way to success in the profession is by hard work & perseverance.
Radha Sharma Advocate, Seema Shekhar Advocate & Z.S. Watali Advocate also spoke on the occasion and briefed the Chief Justice about the problems & issues being faced by the lady lawyers' while working in the Courts. |
