RAJOURI, Sept 26: Rajouri Police, under its Civic Action Programme, organised a 'Mega Wrestling' competition (Dangal) in Kotranka Kandi area which was witnessed by more than ten thousand people from all age groups. Competition was organised by District Police Rajouri and was inaugurated by SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas in presence of ADC Kotranka, Ved Parkash, Tehsildar Kotranka Imtiaz Ahmed, DySP OPs, Sukhdev Singh, SHO Kandi Manzoor Kohli and a number of civil society members and local religious, social and political leaders.
Renowned wrestlers from Jammu and Kashmir state and some from outer state including Punjab took part in this day long competition organised in Kotranka town and a powerfully charged sports atmosphere was witnessed in the entire area. |
