| One militant killed Dooru , Injured soldier succumbs in military hospital | | |

An army soldier who was injured critically in a gunfight at gasigund Dooru area of Anantnag succumbed to injuries in a military hospital.
SSP Anantnag Altaf Khan told media that three soldiers suffered injuries during the gunfight at Gasigund area of Dooru.
The injured soldiers were identified as Happy Singh, Bopinder Singh and Kulwant Singh of 19 RR and were evacuated to nearby military hospital immediately.
The officer said that the critically wounded soldier Happy Singh succumbed to injuries.
Earlier, a LeT militant as identified Eng. Asif Malik from khagund Dooru has been killed during the gunfight while as two to three others reportedly managed to escape.
