Police Public interaction meeting organized

samba, Sept 27: A Police- Public interaction meeting on the directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba was held at village Keso Manhasan, Ramgarh by SHO Ramgarh, Inspector Vikas Dogra under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, S. Baljeet Singh.
During the meeting, participants put forth the issue of overloading of vehicles in the area, menace of drug among the youth and use of local shops/ dhabas as places for consumption of alcohol by the addicts. SHO briefed the meeting that rigorous drive against the traffic rule violators has been initiated by the Ramgarh Police and Auto/ Matador drivers/union members have been advised to obey the traffic rules and avoid over loading of the vehicles/ rash driving.
Also local peoples especially youth and teenagers were briefed to wear helmets and avoid triple ridings on two wheelers. Regarding menace of drugs in the area, Students/Teenagers were advised to keep away from antisocial elements/ any kind of drug addiction and cooperate with the Police to build a drug free society.
They were further asked to remain vigilant and inform Police about any type of criminal activity so that preventive action could be taken well in time. At the conclusion, SHO thanked the Participants for sparing their valuable time and for their valuable suggestions to curb the crime in the area and assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed on priority.
