Early Times Report srinagar, Sept 27: Indian Red Cross Society, J&K State Branch in collaboration with Hotel The Lalit, Grand Palace, Srinagar organized a blood donation camp. The blood was donated for use in SKIMS Medical College & Hospital, JVC Bemina, Srinagar. A total number of 30 employees of the hotel donated the blood. The event was attended by the General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, J&K State Branch, M.S. Rather, the senior officials of Hotel Lalit, the Blood Bank team of the SKIMS and other officials of Indian Red Cross Society. Speaking on the occasion, Rather stressed on organizing more such camps in future. He further added that, "Indian Red Cross Society would like to appreciate the enthusiasm of the donors who participated in this noble cause whole heartedly". Gourav Deb, General Manager, Hotel Lalit in his words said, "Blood donation is a noble cause and every blood donor has contributed towards community development". |
