| Awareness Programme on 'Rights of Citizens' organized | | |  Early Times Report
bhaderwah, Sept 27: District Legal Service Authority and Tehsil Legal Service Committee today organised one day awareness progamme on the rights of senior citizens in the premises of District Court Complex Bhaderwah here today in which Chairman tehsil legal service Committee Bhaderwah and Sub Judge Reenu Dogra Gupta was chief guest where where as Munsif Judge Bhaderwah Mudassar Farooq was guest of honor.
In his speech, Mudasar Farooq, Munsif Judge Bhaderwah cum Secretary Legal Service Authority highlighted the background, legislative framework, objective and plan of action about "NALSA (Legal Services to Senior Citizens) Scheme, 2016".
He further informed that as per the scheme the persons above the age of 60 years have been considered as senior citizens and are entitled to obtain various facilities as per the provisions of the scheme. He says they are planning to involve students in an elaborate way in creating awareness of rights of senior citizens. |
