Jammu, Sept 27: Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department of J&K Grameen Bank conducted 216 Swachhata Hi Seva programmes across the state in various villages of the districts including Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua, Samba, Bandipora, Baramulla, Leh, Kargil and Kupwara. On the 13th day of this Abhiyaan, Chairman Janak Raj Angural himself along with General Manager Romesh Vaid, departmental heads and all the officials of Head Office took initiative to clean the surroundings in order to spread the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. Romesh Vaid, General Manager J&K Grameen Bank imparted knowledge regarding better sanitation practices like using a toilet, handwashing, health and hygiene awareness etc. Vipan Gupta, HOD, Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department, J&K Grameen Bank, said that every branch of J&K Grameen bank is conducting Swachhta Hi Seva Programme in their respective villages from 15th September 2018 to 2nd October 2018. |
