Reasi, Sept 27: With the arrest of one bovine smuggler and rescue of 9 bovine animals, Mahore police today claimed to have foiled a bovine smuggling.
Police spokesman said that today a specific information was received at Police Station Mahore that one person namely Mohd. Fareed of Tulli Tehsil Chassana District Reasi shifting animals illegally towards Kashmir and reached at Kalaban near Balmatkote.
"Acting on the information, a Police team of Mahore police station under the supervision of SI Sajad Baniya-SHO Mahore, Zakir Shaheen Mirza, SDPO Mahore & overall supervision of Nisha Nathyal-SSP Reasi raised a naka at Kalaban near Balmatkote during naka duty 09 bovine animals rescued from the accused person.
The accused person namely Mohd. Fareed has been arrested and in this connection a case under FIR No. 69/2018 under section 188 of RPC has been registered at Mahore police station and investigation is in progress. |
