| Art of Living Centre inaugurated in District Jail Jammu | | |

JAMMU, Sept 27: On the directions of Director General of Police Dilbag Singh an Art of Living Centre was inaugurated in District Jail Jammu, here today. Dinesh Sharma, Sr. Superintendent District Jail Jammu said that jail inmates are already being imparted with training in trades of paper bags, latest design of candle making, computer training and many others. He motivated the Jail inmates to learn these trades with a purpose to earn their livelihood after their release. Explaining them about the benefits of Yoga, he said that it will not only help in attaining good health but also can be selected as a career option.
Coordinator Rupali Dutta and Yuva Acharya Chamail Singh, who are associated with Art of Living organization were also present on the occasion. Rupali Dutta explained about the new tactics of Yoga and its benefits to the jail inmates who were present in the programme. |
