Jammu, Sept 29: Shree Chandra Gufa Sadhana Mandir committee has appealed the state government to assess the losses incurred by the structure of the temple as well as other losses due to falling of boulder in the connecting road. Gufa Sadhna Mandir is located on the right bank of River Tawi beneath Circular road, Panjtirthi, Jammu has been an abode of many saints particularly Shree Chandra Swami Ji Udasin who has been there since 1953.
People of all walks of life visit the place from within and outside the state for multifarious social and religious activities. The devotees used to attend meditation sessions of one hour duration each four times a day regularly but due to falling of bounder the activities have been disturbed. |
