Ram Madhav admits PDP-BJP coalition fails to deliver good governance to people
9/29/2018 11:16:37 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 29: Contrary to the tall claims of local BJP leaders, party's national general secretary and incharge J&K Ram Madhav had made candid admission on Friday by accepting that 'governance deficit' was one of the main reason of breaking alliance with PDP.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Ram Madhav, who was architect of PDP-BJP alliance in J&K revealed that failure of the state government to deliver good governance to the people was one of the reason of breaking of coalition. Although Ram Madhav's attack was on PDP for not delivering good governance, BJP's ministers in the erstwhile coalition were equally responsible for 'governance deficit' because (BJP ministers) were also busy in minting money instead of addressing grievances of the people.
By admitting that 'governance deficit' was one of the reasons for coalition breakdown, Ram Madhav has admitted that his party's ministers were also responsible.
Four months after breaking of alliance, Ram Madhav has ultimately admitted that J&K faced 'governance deficit' during PDP-BJP, which people of Jammu region considered one of the darkest period in the political history after 1947.
And more importantly Ram Madhav repeatedly tried to convey that BJP wanted to extend 73rd and 74thamendments of the Indian Constitution in J&K but PDP created hurdles but he forgot that it was with the consent of BJP ministers in the coalition and party legislators in the Assembly that a Bill was passed in the House for the indirect elections of Sarpanches.
