Jammu, Sept 29: Department of Applied Sciences of Yogananda college of Engineering & Technology organized a plantation campaign and clean campus drive for the students of first semester.
The students from all the streams actively participated in this event. During the programme the students planted fifty different trees like Rubber plant, Araucaria, Bottle palm, Eucalyptus, Sandalwood, Croton, Ravish Palm, Arborvitae etc in the campus with a motive to contribute a bit to the "Go Clean Go Green" initiative as this would let our coming generations lead a healthy life.
Dr. Arvind Dewangan, Director YCET and all other dignitaries participated in the event.
