JAMMU, Sept 29: Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organized Free Medical camp and awareness programme about nutrition at Bhargav Public School Gadigarh.
Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organized a Free Medical camp and awareness programme about the nutrition amoung the children. In the camp more than 400 children, their parents and Staff of school were benefitted by the camp suffering from different ailments. Free medicine distributed. The programme was organized under Poshan Mah programme launched by Ministry of AYUSH at national level with a slogan Sahi poshan- Desh Roshan. Ayurveda places special emphasis on Ahara and believes that healthy nutrition nourishes the mind, body, and soul. Ahara is considered as one of the key pillars (Upasthambha) of life in Ayurveda.
AYUSH Zindagi Rahe Khush, Poshan Abhiyan launched by Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India and Ministry of AYUSH Government of India.
Speaking on the occasion Vikas Sharma Principal of the school appreciated the role of Director Indian systems of Medicine and Homeopathy J&K Niraj Kumar and said that he will take this system to new heights. |
