MEd students organize internship activities

JAMMU, Sept 29: Students pursuing MEd 3rd sem course from Government College of Education, Jammu organized various activities in the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Canal Road, Jammu during teaching practice and internship programme to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of late Mahatma Gandhi.
As a tribute to a great soul, the students performed various activities such as drawing, Rangoli, quiz, dance and singing competitions. In Quiz Shanky group was adjudged first and Kritika group bagged second position. Shanky bagged first position in singing on the theme Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Manpreet group was adjudged first in rangoli competition. The principal of the school Sushma Koul and Dr Suman Charak were the chief guests during the entire programme and RS Slathia was the judge. The principal of the school appreciated the efforts of the organizing team from M Ed course.
The principal of the Govt. College of Education Dr Sangita Nagari also appreciated the endeavour of Dr Suman Charak, the group supervisor, who remained the chief source of inspiration and courage for all the pupil-teacher organizers.
