Valedictory function on "Swachhta Hi Seva" organised

Jammu, Oct 2: Sulabh International Social Service Organisation Jammu & Kashmir has organized a valedictory function here today of "Swachhata Hi Seva 2018" Pakhwada which was started on 15th September, 2018 all over the country by the initiatives of Government of India. The GOI has lauded the efforts of Sulabh International and involved the Sulabh International to undertake a cleanliness drive all over the country during this campaign from 15th September to 2nd October, 2018. Today on the occasion of valedictory function the main was organized at Satwari Chowk, Jammu where in Kavinder Gupta, Ex-Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Gandhi Nagar was the chief Guest and Vikram Randawa, MLC was the Guest of honour. The dignitaries of the program were Anil Kumar Singh Hony. Controller Sulabh International Social Service Organization Jammu & Kashmir, Opinder Sharma, SR NYCS. Kavinder Gupta appreciated the initiatives which has been taken by Sulabh International and said in order to intensifying the Jan andolon and to fulfill the dreams of PM Narinder Modi "Swachh Bharat Mission" (SBM), "Sulabh International is playing a very pivotal role and he laid emphasis that cleanlines campaign can be made possible only through community participation. He also said that Mahatma Gandhi had laid emphasis on cleanliness. Vikram Randawa in his address said that mantra of hour is "cleanliness is next to Godliness". He said that the policies of the Modi Governments like SBM are creating a revolution at grass root level.
