| NSS volunteers of GDC kathua celebrate 'Daan Utsav' | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 8: The NSS Units of Govt Degree College Kathua celebrated 'Daan Utsav' i.e. the joy of giving by distributing stationery, fruits and sports items to the children of Government Middle School A, Shahidi Chowk Kathua. The volunteers contributed and bought items for school children keeping in mind the motto of spirit of donation as envisaged by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in ' Mann ki baat'. The volunteers as well as the NSS Programme Officers also expressed their views on the joy of giving thereby encouraging and motivating all. The activity was supervised by NSS Programme Officers Prof Shikha, Professor Manmohan Singh . |
