JAMMU, Nov 21: Dr. Anil Bhat, Assistant Professor, Agricultural Economics, SKUAST-Jammu has been conferred with Young Scientist Award for his contribution in the field of Agricultural Economics which was presented during National Conference on "Smart Technology to Boost Farm Profitability and Socio Economic Status of Rural India" held w.e.f 19th -20th November, 2018 at SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha. The award to Dr. Anil Bhat son of Triloki Nath Bhat and Kaushalya Bhat was presented by Col. Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Dr. Rajesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, Purnea University, Bihar, Dr. Anil Singh, Executive Council Member, Lucknow University and Dr. Ram Vishawkarma, Director IIIM, Jammu in the presence of Dr. J. P. Sharma, Director Research SKUAST-Jammu, Dr. Awadesh Kumar Singh, President of the Society and Dr. Poonam Parihar, Organizing Secretary of the conference. The valedictory function was attended by all the statutory officers of the university, Head of the division and eminent scientists from across the country. It is pertinent to mention that the conference was inaugurated by Dr. Nirmal Singh, Speaker Legislative Assembly (J&K), Dr. N. S. Rathore, DDG (Education), ICAR and Dr. Pradeep K Sharma, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu. Dr. Anil Bhat is working as Assistant professor in the Division of Agricultural Economics and ABM, SKUASAT-Jammu and is having expertise in the field of Agricultural Marketing and Agribusiness Management. He is having many books and research publications to his credit. He also hold the certificate of "Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures" from Director General, WTO, Geneva, Switzerland |
