| Knit celebrates Guru Nanak Jayanti | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 23: Management, staff & the students of Kotwal National Institute of Teaching Bharat Nagar today celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 550th Jayanti. Students recited Gurbani & Shabad kirtan with religious fervour & enthusiasm. Students supporting traditional dress presented Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Shabad in a perfect religious devotion. The sanctity of the Dewan was reflected in every moment of the function. Many Students threw light on the life & teaching of 'Sarb Sanjiwalte ke Prateek Guru Nanak Dev ji'. Director of the School Prof Jia Lal Kotwal, Principal Mrs Bimla Billiria and others also spoke on the occasion and said that celebration of such events carries no meaning if people don't follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Prof Kotwal insisted that such programs about different religions should be made part of regular school curriculum, so that our youth knows about all religions & the teachings of their great Saints & Scholars. |
