Jammu, Nov 23: Taking cognizance of Early Times report, the PDD has risen to the occasion and installed a pole in village Rakh Yard, in Suchetgarh area.
Early Times on November 14, carried a story with caption, "Despite repeated appeals PDD, administration unmoved, Electric wires hover like "Yamraj" over poor family", acting over the matter the concerned department installed a poll there relieving the family from death 'threat' looming over their heads.
Devi Rani, the head of family, express her gratitude to Early Times initiative, said that she also thanks to civil administration and PDD for awakening of deep slumber.
"We have lost all hopes to get installed electric poll at our place, but media report, made our dream true to forced concerned department to fulfil its mandate", she said. |
