| Rs 18000 stolen from Harni Shrine | | |

MENDHAR, Dec 19: A theft took place in the famous shrine of Peer Zian Shah Badshah , at village Harni in Mendhar tehsil of district Poonch last night.
Reports said that some unknown thieves barged into the shrine of Peer Zian Shah Badshah last night and broke the three public donation box installed there. They decamped with Rs 18,000 cash along with some other articles. The shrine Incharge informed locals of the area about the matter in the morning. The locals assembled there in large number. Then they informed police about the matter. SHO and Tehsildar concerned reached there. The police registered a case and started investigation. They tried to pacify public and assured that case would be solved shortly. |
