| Unemployed engineers hold protest, demand advertisement of vacant posts | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 19: All Jammu and Kashmir unemployed engineers association today held protest demanding advertisement post for the pass out engineers in different departments.
Amid slogans a large number of unemployed engineers assembled outside the press club under the banner of Unemployed Engineers Association, a state level association working for the upliftment of unemployed engineers since.
A protesting engineer said that that various posts of engineers are lying vacant in PHE, I&FC, R&B, Disaster Management Department, Road Transport and Technical Education Depar-tment, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communi-cation and Computer Engi-neering in different departments.
He added that if advertisement are put forward in the teaching and medical department than why cannot government come up with the advertisement posts for the engineers. There are many posts vacant which have come to know through the various RTI's filed by the engineers.
He added that there are many engineers who are going over aged as no advertisement has come up in recent times. We have been left with no option than to come on streets and protest. We urge the authorities to look into the matter so that our problems are solved. |
