MTC on "Entrepreneurship Development, Mushroom Cultivation" begins at SKUAST-J | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 19: An Eight day-long Model Training Course (MTC) on "Entrepreneurship Development through Spawn Production and Mushroom Cultivation" commenced today at Mushroom Research and Training Centre, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J). The course is sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Govt. of India and will be organized under the aegis of Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu in collaboration with Division of Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture from December 19 to 26. The training programme will give clear understanding of entrepreneurship development in spawn production and mushroom cultivation with all the procedures to set up the venture and will also create awareness about its advantages and benefit cost ratio. Dr J P Sharma, Director Research, SKUAST-J was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the inaugural function, Dr Sharma briefed about the importance of mushroom cultivation in entrepreneurship development. He wished the participants an informative eight days of training programme and pleasant stay in the city of temples. |
