AIABMSS holds working committee meeting, remembers Justice Mahajan | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 26: All India Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha (AIABMSS) organized its working committee meeting at Mukerian (Punjab) in order to celebrate 129th birth anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan, a great political visionary and saint of J&K state who also remained the 1st Prime Minister of J&K under the regime of Maharaja Hari Singh. Floral tributes and all praises were offered to him. He was remembered for his advanced, visionary and futuristic wisdom as he preferred Gurdaspur district of Punjab to be merged with J&K state against Lahore with Pakistan which paved the link between J&K state and the rest of India in 1947. The meeting was attended by the All India President Jungi Lai Mahajan, Rama Murti ex-president Om Parkash Vice Chairman, Mahajan Bhawan, Haridwar and many other dignitaries. Besides 500 delegates from all over the country also attended the meeting. In the meeting Mahajan Sabha President delegated a key role to the Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha in the formation and working of All India Core Committees of the Mahajan Community, namely Romesh Chander Gupta President Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha Shalamar Road, Jammu was taken as All India Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Sr. Vice President while Yash Paul Gupta, Chief Patron Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha Jammu was taken as Chairman All India Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Advisory Committee. Shiv Partap, Sr. Vice President JCMS Jammu was inducted as Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Vice President while Ram Langar, Vice President JCMS Jammu was nominated as All India Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Vice President. Besides these positions, in the previous All India Working Committee meeting Om Parkash Gupta (Kaku Shah Ji) Sr. Vice President JCMS was appointed as Secretary Haridwar Mahajan Bhawan along with his team members. |
