Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 26: Son of soil, Sanjeev verma awarded with National Youth Leadership Award for Women Empowerment at Yuva Kumb, Lucknow by Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister of India. On December 23rd, a National Convention of Talented and Committed Youth of India (Yuva Kumb) was organised by Lucknow University wherein thousands of young minds participated. Said Convention attended by Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister, Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, U.P, Smriti Irani. During the convention, 11 young minds of India were awarded. Sanjeev Kumar Verma was awarded for his devotion and dedication for women empowerment in J&K State. He is running an organisation "Swarn Samarika" through which he motivates women folk to weave and prepared jute and cloth bags. He has been engaged women of around 2500 families across Jammu and Kashmir. His initiative has helped these women of BPL line familes to earn average income of 1500 to 2000 monthly with small venture. Sanjeev is striving hard to involved more women in this venture to make them independent and his vision to dedicate his whole life for this cause. His devotion to work for society by even threatening his life is exemplary. For this noble cause, he was awarded with National Youth Leadership Award by Rajnath Singh,. Keshav Parsad Mourya, Dy.CM, U.P, Acharya Balkrishan of Patanjli, Olympian Susheel and many prominent figures of India were present on the stage to honour the awardees. |
