Jammu, Dec 26: MV International School hosted District Level Sports Competition 2018-19 in the games of Basketball and Wrestling organized by J&K State Sports Council for District Samba. The competition was organized under the overall supervision of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer and under the guidance of Dr. Naseem Javaid Choudhary, KAS, and Secretary J&K State Sports Council. Gourav Abrol, Director MVIS was the Chief Guest and Kundan Lal Dogra, Principal was the Guest of Honour. In Basketball Game 3 teams of boys and 2 teams of girls from District Samba took part. Girl's team of MV International School won the final match against Humanity Public School whereas in boy's category APS BD Bari team won final match and MV International School team was the Runners up. In wrestling competition 12 students in 3 weight categories took part. Iqbal Singh Football Coach, Jagjeet Singh, Hockey Coach, members of Sports Council and staff of MV International School was also present to witness the event. |
