Ex MLA meets Governor, raised issues of constituency | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 23: Prem Lal, ex MLA Hira Nagar today met Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at Governor House and raised some issues of his constituency. In this regard a press conference was held by Prem Lal today. Addressing the media, Ex MLA said that some key issues were discussed with the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir today which included allotment of 5 marlas plot to the needy families of the border area of Hiranagar constituency. Also discriminatory attitude with youth of district Kathua in recruitment and the eligibility criteria as 45% should be given at par with other districts. Also provide facilities of mini secretariat at Hira Nagar for all government offices, to organize recruitment rallies in Kathua for the youth belonging to Border area (Army, paramilitary forces and SPO's recruitment), issuance of Dogra certificate for preferential benefits for the recruitment in the army were discussed, he added. Lal said that he also raised issue of 5% reservation of LOC and International Border residing people and the section of Government Degree College at Marheen and also hostel facilities for the border student, establishment of Trauma Hospital at Chadwal Hiranagar and to conduct CBI enquiry in Asifa murder case. He said that five issues were Okayed by the Governor on the spot which includes, Government Degree College, facility of mini secretariat, trauma hospital, recruitment rallies for Kathua youth belonging to Border areas, and 5% reservation of LOC and International Borders residing people. |
