Raina-Koul policies proving disastrous for BJP in Leh
1/3/2019 11:12:19 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 3: Dangerous policy being pursued by Ashok Koul and Ravinder Raina to humiliated senior and credible leaders proving disastrous for BJP as dignified and self-respected leaders Buddhist leaders continue to desert the party for their honour and dignity.
Today five Councillors of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Ccouncil (LAHDC)-Leh have resigned from the party charging leadership with betraying people of Leh.
The Councillors who tendered their resignation included Dorji Motup former CEC, .Tsering Angdus Saspol constituency, Tsering Motup- Temisgam constituency.
Credible sources said that Raina-Koul has adopted the policy only to project weak, discredited and inexperience leaders so as to keep their total control on the party in J&K. Earlier in the month of November veteran Ladakhi leader and Lok Sabha member Thupstan Chhewang had resigned from the party after labelling serious charges on state unit. Chhewang was humiliated by the incumbent state BJP leadership just to appease sycophants and inefficient leaders.
In the month of October when BJP had failed to open its account in municipal election in Leh, the Raina-Koul duo had forced veteran leader Dorjey Motup to resign as Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh.
There were reports that Thuptsan Chhewang and Motup were humiliated by certain junior level BJP leaders of Jammu and New Delhi following the party's rout in the municipal elections as a result of which both decided to quit.
After ignoring all senior leaders, Raina-Koul duo appointed own-man and inexperience Jamyang Tsering Namgyal as the new Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of the powerful Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh on November last year.
