Awareness drive on waste management organized

Poonch, Jan 15: An awareness drive was organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Poonch in collaboration with Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection Mission (SDEPM) Poonch in ward no 2 and 9 of Municipal council Poonch.
The main object of the awareness drive was to educate the people regarding solid waste management. The people of ward no 2 and 9 actively participate in the drive and put forward their demands for the installation of municipal Dustbins in the aforementioned ward.
Those who were participated in the awareness drive were Adv Intakhab Ahmed qazi, Adv Bhanu Partap, Adv Toseef Akram, Adv Tayer Mahmood and Adv Romaan Manhas ( Trustees SDEPM) the retainer Lawyers Adv Gagandeep Singh and Adv Farooq Ahmed besides Para legal volunteers (PLVS) from DLSA Poonch.
