AOL Foundation conducts first 'Yes Plus' workshop | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15: Art of Living Foundation Jammu chapter conducted Yes Plus (Youth Empowerment Skills Workshop) the Art of Living Program Eliezer Joldan Memorial College Leh, Ladakh (also known as Govt. Degree College, Leh) for youth in which more than 50 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. 5 days 18 hours committed sessions with interactive lectures on optimism and stress management were key features. The Speaker of initial sessions was Rohit Ranjan Senior Faculty youth Programs, Art of Living, India and State Coordinator of Youth Programs for Jammu and Kashmir. He motivated students that better living is the blessed one. According to his success in life depends upon one's attitude and enthusiasm. He also stressed upon importance of concentration in studies. With the help of certain games, He checked the concentration level of students. In subsequent sessions Kousar Razvi first Art of Living teacher from Ladakh also interacted with the youth and informed them about soft skills and domain knowledge. Both made them aware of the importance of these two skills in becoming a successful person. They also stressed that it is important to be happy before rather than being successful. The Art of Living have launched this initiative also to help aspiring students, who are preparing for entrance examinations, combat the heightened level of stress. Apart from meditation, students learnt the Art of Living's powerful rhythmic breathing technique Sudarshan Kriya, updated Ajay kapoor State coordinator- Art of living bureau of communication and DDC. |
