| Jammu Club celebrates Lohri | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 15: Jammu Club celebrated Lohri festival with religious fervour and gaiety.
On this occasion large number of club members and their wards participated in different age categories upto 15 years, in various competitions such as like fancy dress competition, singing competition, dancing competition & instrumental competition followed by special Bhangra troupe performance from Jalandhar .
Sapna Aggarwal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. She described the importance of Lohri as a national festival and appreciated the efforts being done by the managing committee for organising such grand Lohri fest.
In the evening members of Managing Committee along with their respected members lit bonfire in the club premises and performed Lohri rituals in a traditional way.
Vote of thanks was given by Secretary Jammu Club Rattandeep Singh Anand, in his address he thanked Executive Committee Members and the respected members of the Club for the great participation to make this Lohri fest a grand success. |
