| One way traffic on Jammu-Srinagar highway | | | Keeping in view the overall weather and road conditions, the traffic on Srinagar-Jammu highway continues to move from one side. The traffic on Wednesday was thrown open from Srinagar to Jammu.
The spokesman said that the traffic movement on Srinagar Jammu highway has been thrown open for the traffic movement from one side. He said no movement of any LMVs or HMVs shall be allowed from another side, to avoid congestion. The commuters are requested to avoid travelling during night hours.
Meanwhile, on the historical Mughal road, and Srinagar-Sonamarg, Gumri road traffic movement remained closed due to the accumulation of snow. People are requested to undertake a journey only after confirming the status of the road. |
