ABVP to initiate voter awareness campaign

Jammu, Jan 22: ABVP J&K State Secretary, Member Deepak Gupta today said that ABVP is going to start Voter Awareness Campaign from 1st to 15th February 2019 throughout the State. Deepak Gupta was addressing the media at Press Club Jammu.
The press conference was organized by ABVP Jammu, where Deepak Gupta along with CWC Member, State Joint Girls Working In charge Naina Dogra, Central University Jammu Secretary Muskan Anand, Jammu Mahanagar Joint Secretary, SWC Sonali Vaid, President ABVP Jammu University Ravail Parihar and Jammu Mahanagar Secretary Kunal Sadotra.
Gupta said that ABVP is going to start a Voter Awareness Campaign from 1st February to 15th February throughout the State in which ABVP is going to paste 50000 posters in public places for promoting 100% voting , 2 Lakh stickers in Students corners, Colleges, University, Door to Door Campaign for No to NOTA awareness
He further said that State Executive Council Meeting of ABVP JK was concluded at Udhampur from 18-20 January, 2019 in which Education Related issues like Recent SAC issue of the students which has ignited protests in Jammu and Kashmir, no academic calendar in Jammu and Kashmir, semester system in UG courses to be taken back was discussed.
He added that ABVP is going to start a Voter Awareness Campaign from 1st February to 15th February throughout the State in which ABVP is going to paste 50000 posters in public places for promoting 100% voting , 2 Lakh stickers in Students corners, Colleges, University, Door to Door Campaign fo no to NOTA awareness. ABVP in one voice asked support from people of Jammu and Kashmir. He further informed that ABVP is going to organize 5 Rath Yatras throughout the state which is going to cover Panchayat level voters in which 100% voting is going to be promoted. Various street plays and Flash mob programme are going to be organized on 9th and 10th. This voter awareness Campaign is going to end with Jan Sabhas at different district headquarters.
