Jammu, Jan 22: The then director of the Information department Muneer-ul-Islam remained at the "beck and call" of the former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti.
He ensured that the "diktats" of the "Queen" are followed in letter and spirit. He (Muneer-ul-Islam) left no stone unturned to crush the Early Times by choking the advertisement flow. He went out of way to appease his political masters. He acted like a "monarch" as his masters had ensured him that no action would be taken against him for misusing his official position. |
