DNB courses all set to be started in district hospitals of Kashmir | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 27: As the government is keen to extend DNB courses facility to district hospitals of state district hospitals such as JLNM Rainawari, Kulgam, Pulwama and Ganderbal are set to create history in the field of medical education. In this regard Dr Kunzes Dolma, Director Health Services Kashmir convened a meeting of CMOs and Medical Superintendents of respective districts in her office chamber today. Dr Jitendra Mehta, Nodal Officer (FNB Courses) J&K while projecting the extension of DNB courses in the disciplines of Gynecology, Surgery, Pediatrics, Anesthesia and Pathology presented a clear picture with regard to guidelines and human resource developments. Threadbare discussions were held during the meeting in order to ensure the courses are started at an earliest in the state. The issues and implementation process was kick started with all positive nodes to ensure medical education creates history in health services by offering such courses in the interest of patient care and medical education. Director Health Services Kashmir while commenting on such courses conveyed that by adding such field of education shall argument the system at large in overcoming deficiencies with regard to human resource and retain educational values too. She directed all the officers to ensure submission of modalities to be taken care of within two days. The initiative under process has actually originated from Directorate of Health Services Kashmir in order to redesign patient care facilities and simultaneously emerging with possibilities of progressive educational field to retain values of patient care needs and human resource within justified noble profession in order to sustain system that relates to humanity at large. |
