Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 27: The Technical Assistant of Block Warwan in Kishtwar District who recently had a fight with the concerned Block Development Officer over the share of corruption money has been rewarded by the BDO by assigning him the charge of five Panchayats of Warwan block out of Seven Panchayats-that too through a back dated order despite the fact the ACD Kishtwar had issued the transfer order of the Technical Assistant who is posted in the area since last more than five years. As per the details available with ET, BDO Warwan Raiz Ahmed Lone vide order No. BDO/Estt/2018-19/camp-ktr/34-39 Dated 2-1-2019 ordered the assigning of the charge of Panchayat Sukhnie, Margi, Basmina, Afti and Choidraman while leaving the other employees of the department almost jobless. The sources told ET that the Technical Assistant who was a backdoor appointee and had been appointed by the RDD without any advertisement after he filed several RTIs against the RDD department and was silent only after his appointment in the department that too by the approval of the then Commissioner Secretary RDD. The sources said that ACD Kishtwar along with the said Technical Assistant ordered mass scale transfers through different orders wherein some employees were transferred within weeks of their previous postings. The sources said that some employees were transferred in the name of model code of conduct with the condition that they will join at the original place of posting once the model code of conduct was lifted, but surprisingly some employees who didn't grease the palms of the senior officials were restricted from joining back to previous place of posting. The local people of Warwan on the condition of the anonymity demanded immediate transfer of the influential Technical Assistant out of Marwah Sub Division. |
